CEO intro

Welcome to the RDAMIW May/June eNews. I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Easter period.  At the time of drafting this update, I have been in the CEO role for RDAMIW for a bit over four months. I would like to thank all those who have made me feel welcome, and engaged and involved me and RDAMIW in regional development and growth activities. It is refreshing to see the level of partnership and collaboration across our region within the Economic and Development sector. This focus on shared activity bodes well for the region’s future success in meeting growth, investment and development aspirations.

Readers of this eNews will see that RDAMIW and regional partners and stakeholders have been and continue to be busy in formulating and delivering projects and studies to support regional development through a lens of people, profit and planet.

Over the past few months, RDAMIW has undergone significant change in staff and committee representation. I would like to acknowledge all those staff and committee members that have supported RDAMIW and wish them well and welcome those new to RDAMIW. RDAMIW is keen to move forward in its new chapter of operations and delivery for the region, and we look forward to working with all stakeholders.

In this eNews, you will get a glimpse of some of the projects RDAMIW and others are working on in the region. I encourage anyone seeking to know more about these or other projects, or if you have any questions regarding regional development, growth, trade and investment, to contact myself.

Hope you enjoy this edition of RDAMIW eNews.

Robert Cocco,
RDAMIW CEO
